Are books in foreign languages allowed to be sent-in for local inmates?

Generally, only reading materials in Singapore’s four official languages (English, Mandarin, Malay and Tamil) are permitted. Reading materials in other languages will be assessed on a case by case basis and subjected to SPS’s approval.
