Why is the information in MyProperty records different from the hardcopy title document in my possession?
The date, edition number and information shown in the hardcopy title document which you have in your possession may differ from the title search records found in the MyProperty portal for the following reasons (this list is not exhaustive):
i) There has been an update in the records eg. a caveat has been notified against the title document in our records but the caveat will not be reflected on the hardcopy title document as the hardcopy title document is not required to be produced for the notification of caveats.
ii) An error has been rectified in the records eg. an incorrect instrument number has been amended.
iii) A defunct entry has been removed eg. a caveat has expired as it was notified more than 5 years ago and has been accordingly removed from the records.
