I have changed my mobile number. How do I update it in Singpass?
To update your mobile number:

When you set up your Singpass account, your system-generated Singpass ID is your NRIC/FIN by default.
Option 1As an immediate measure to safeguard personal data, you should log in to your Singpass account at Singpass Portal > Select My Account > Select Manage 2FA > Select Deactivate to deactivate your Singpass app.Option 2You can install the Singpass app on a new mobile device. Once you have activated the Singpass app on your new device, the Singpass app on your lost device will be automatically deactivated to ensure security.Option 3You may also choose to visit any of the Singpass counters in person, with your original NRIC or FIN card, to deactivate your Singpass app on the lost device.
You will need to enter the date of issuance of your identity card/long term pass to reset your Singpass password online.
You need to update your residential address with ICA. After which, your address registered with ICA will be automatically synced with Singpass.

You should download and set up the Singpass app on your new device. Once you have activated Singpass app on your new device, the Singpass app on your previous mobile device will automatically be deactivated to ensure security. There is no need to uninstall the app from previous devices.
If you have not logged in to your Singpass account for a prolonged period of time, your account will be listed as dormant. This is part of the security measures in place to protect users' account and personal data.To re-instate your account, simply visit the Singpass Portal and reset your Singpass password.
Your one-time Singpass password will be mailed to your address registered with the Government. It will arrive within 3 working days for local address and 10 working days for overseas address (depending on the overseas postal services). If you are holding a work pass issued by MOM, the registered address will be your company’s address.

Having a strong password is essential to keeping your Singpass account safe.
Consist of 8 to 24 alphanumeric characters, with at least 1 letter and 1 number. It should preferably contain capital letters and symbols. Special characters, excluding space, can be used (e.g. hgu%7$)
Cannot be the same as any of the past five passwords used
Cannot be the same as your Singpass ID, or contain the numeric values of your NRIC / FIN and the word "pass" or "pwd" (e.g. 12345Pwd, Password1, pass1234, S1234567)
You are advised not to use a password that can be easily guessed, such as your contact number, date of birth, identity card number or family member's name.
To change your Singpass password:
Log in to your account at Singpass Portal
Select 'Change password'
Enter your current and new password, followed by a SMS One-Time Password to verify your new password
Log in to your account at Singpass Portal > Under the 'My account' drop-down menu at the top > Select 'Manage 2FA'. You can view your 2FA status and choose to change your preferred mode of verification (SMS 2FA, Singpass app).

Select ‘Update Profile’ icon
You may change your Singpass ID to your preferred username. Log in to your account on the Singpass Portal > Select the 'Update Profile' icon > Select the 'Update' button next to your current Singpass ID.
