How do I suspend my Singpass account?

If you think your Singpass account has been compromised, you can suspend your account in one of two ways:

Option 1: Get assistance from a Singpass Helpdesk officer

  • Call the Singpass Helpdesk at +65 6335 3533 during our operating hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) and one of our Helpdesk officers will assist you.

Option 2: Self-suspend your account via our hotline (available 24/7)

  • You can self-suspend your Singpass account at any time by following the steps below.

  • Note: Self-suspension is available only to NRIC or FIN holders, based locally and overseas.

Steps to self-suspend your Singpass account via hotline

Step 1: Call Singpass Helpdesk at +65 6335 3533 and press 9

Step 2: Press 2 to select Suspend your account

Step 3: Enter the NRIC/FIN details of the Singpass account you want to suspend

Step 4: Enter the SMS One-Time Password sent to your mobile number
