What is Singpass app?
Singpass app is a mobile application that is available on iOS, Android and Huawei* operating systems.
You can use the Singpass app as a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) method to conveniently access digital services using your fingerprint, face or a six-digit passcode.
With the app, you can also access frequently-used services through the shortcuts, flash your Digital IC, digitally sign documents, view your important information, and read notifications from government agencies.More features will be added to the app so keep your app updated!
Minimum Operating System (OS) Requirements
The Singpass app is compatible with operating systems versions iOS 14.0, Android 8.0 and above.
*We are aware of the new HarmonyOS NEXT operating system for Huawei mobile devices. Our team is currently evaluating its potential compatibility and support with the Singpass app.
This ensures the security of data accessed via Singpass when Singpass app users transact online. As with all digital applications and services, system updates protect users from evolving security threats such as malware. Older systems are not equipped to defend against newer and more sophisticated threats. System updates also provide bug fixes and user interface (UI) improvements.
