The Singpass app replaces the old 2FA methods with a token in your phone, so 'logging out' is not applicable. Here's how it works.

1. With the Singpass app, your phone acts as a token (what you have) and requires either:

   • an additional passcode (what you know)

   • biometrics identification (who you are)

2. To use your phone as a token, your account needs to be actively tied to the app, like a key.

3. Security is most important: the Singpass app cannot be used if malicious apps or altered settings have been detected on your device.

4. If you choose not to use the Singpass app, you can still log in on the web using your account, password, and SMS-2FA. No problem!
