Unlike web browsers, you don’t need to log out of the Singpass app. You’ll only be logged out if you reset the app. 

How security works on the app

• Your device: The app only works on your trusted device. 

• Your verification: When an action requires authentication, we will prompt you for your passcode or biometrics (face or fingerprint).

Because these protections are always active, your account stays secure without needing to log out.

Built-in safety guards

For your security, the app automatically pauses access if it detects security risks on your device, including:

• Malicious apps that could compromise your information

• Modified device settings. 
  

To keep your device secured, only download apps from the official app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store, Huawei AppGallery) and avoid modifying system settings.
