We encourage you to set up other 2FA methods as soon as possible for seamless access. Choose one of the following options today:

Singpass app
If you have a smartphone, you may download the Singpass app to log in using your fingerprint , face or a six-digit passcode.

Download the app from the Apple App Store, Huawei App Gallery or Google Play Store.

Please follow our Singpass Guides on how to set up your Singpass app.

Face Verification
This feature allows you to log in to a digital service with your Singpass ID and password, followed by scanning your face on a computer with a web camera, or a smartphone with a front-facing camera on your mobile web browser.

Simply select Face Verification when prompted for your 2FA authentication.

SMS 2FA
If you have a mobile phone that cannot download apps, you may log in to Singpass to set up your SMS 2FA.

With this, you can use the SMS One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your mobile number to log into Singpass. Only Singapore-registered mobile numbers may be used for this.

Multi-User SMS 2FA

If a family member is helping you with your transactions, you can give your one-time explicit consent to link your Singpass account to his/her mobile number for the purpose of receiving the SMS-OTP.

Both parties are required to activate this option at any of the Singpass Counters islandwide. If you have difficulties being physically present, please contact our Singpass Helpdesk here.
