For seamless access to digital services, we highly encourage users to switch to the Singpass app.

To set up your Singpass app, follow these steps:

  1. Update your overseas address with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA).

  2. Download the Singpass app from your device’s official app store.

  3. Launch the app and sign in using your Singpass ID and password.

  4. Complete Face Verification by following the on-screen instructions to scan your face.

If you have a mobile number registered in Singapore (starting with +65), you can also enable SMS (Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via the Singpass Portal.

To use SMS 2FA:

  • Log in with your Singpass ID and password.

  • Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your mobile phone via SMS.
