What should I do if I face difficulty logging into a government mobile app with Singpass?

Here are some ways you can troubleshoot:


  1. Ensure your Internet connection is stable

  2. Relaunch the app and try to log in again

  3. Make sure your device operating system and app are updated to the latest version

  4. Check that your device date-time setting is set to “Automatic”

  5. Ensure that you did not block all cookies in your browser settings

  6. Use Safari (version 16 and above) or Chrome (version 114 and above) as your default browser

  7. If you are using Firefox browser, check that you have enabled the opening of links in apps in your browser settings


Please note that Singpass may not work on older web browser versions and users are advised to upgrade to the latest versions. Outdated web browsers, where security updates have been discontinued by the product developers, may pose security risks to your Singpass account.
