My baby gulps and milk dribbles from their mouth during bottle feeding. What should I do?

Practice paced feeding to help your baby manage milk flow better. Count sucks and pause every three to five sucks by moving baby and bottle so milk flows back from teat to bottle. Keep the teat in baby's mouth, move to upright position, allow time to swallow and breathe quietly, then resume feeding position. This coordinated movement prevents overwhelming your baby with fast milk flow and reduces gulping and spillage. If this does not help, do seek an assessment with a paediatric feeding speech therapist.
