What should I do if my baby refuses the bottle?

Updated by SGH-AHPEDIA
Try these strategies: Ensure baby is hungry but not overly distressed, check teat flow rate - it may be too fast or too slow, try different teat shapes or materials, have someone other than the breastfeeding parent offer the bottle, ensure milk temperature is appropriate (body temperature), try different feeding positions, be patient and don't force it - some babies need time to accept bottles. If problems persist, feel free to approach your paediatric feeding speech therapist.
