What are “Simplified Proceedings” under POHA?

Updated by SGCOURTS

Simplified proceedings were introduced to provide for a less expensive and simpler court user experience. Victims may seek relief by simply making an application online, using a simplified platform (the Community Justice and Tribunals System or “CJTS”), at a lower cost. It does not apply in certain prescribed scenarios, such as where there is a claim for damages exceeding $20,000.
