At a Plead Guilty (PG) Mention:

  1. The charge(s) will be read to you. You need to state whether you admit to the charge(s) and wish to plead guilty.

  2. The Prosecution will read a statement of facts which contains relevant information of your offence. You need to state whether you accept the full facts.

  3. There may be other charges that need to be taken into consideration for sentencing. But the Court will not impose any individual sentences for these charges. You need to state whether you admit to the charge(s) and consent to have them considered by the Court.

  4. The Prosecution will state your past criminal record, if any.

  5. If you admit to the charge(s) and the facts, the Court will convict you of the offences.

  6. After that, the Court will hear submissions from the Prosecution and you before deciding on the sentence to be imposed.
