My spouse has been violent towards my child. I am worried for the safety of my child. Can I apply for a personal protection order (PPO) on behalf of my child against my spouse?

Yes, you can file for a PPO on behalf of your child if he/she is below 18 years of age.

You can file a PPO application in person at any Protection Specialist Centres (PSC), Pave Integrated Services for Individual and Family Protection Specialist Centre (ISIFPSC) or at the Family Protection Centre (FPC) located in the Family Justice Courts.

For more information, you may visit https://www.judiciary.gov.sg/family/apply-personal-protection-order and refer to the various guides available under "Resources" at the bottom of the page.

You may also file an application online via the Integrated Family Application Management System (iFAMS). However, you will still have to visit the FPC, ISIFPSC or PSC to complete the application after submitting your information online.
