The court may, if it is satisfied on a balance of probabilities that there is a danger of the respondent committing family violence against you whilst the protection order application is pending, grant an Expedited Order for a PPO. An Expedited Order for PPO is a temporary PPO restraining your family member from committing family violence against you while the PPO proceedings are pending. In addition to an Expedited Order for PPO, the court may also grant an Expedited Order of the following, if it is satisfied on a balance of probabilities that these orders are necessary for your protection or personal safety:
(a) Domestic Exclusion Order
(b) Stay Away Order
(c) No Contact Order

You can file a PPO application in person at any Protection Specialist Centres (PSC), Pave Integrated Services for Individual and Family Protection Specialist Centre (ISIFPSC) or at the Family Protection Centre (FPC) located in the Family Justice Courts.
