When can I request for a refund of the monies deposited in the Probate eService, and how do I request for it?

Following payment and document submission at Step 6 of the eService, you may request a refund at any time if the following conditions are satisfied:
Scenario 1:
After submission at Step 6 and before the Grant of Probate is issued
a. There is a positive balance in your account.
You may check your account balance via the “Transaction History” button located at the top right of the screen.
b. You have submitted a withdrawal request and the request has been accepted by the Court.
You may submit a request for withdrawal via the “Transaction History” pop-up screen. Once you have submitted the withdrawal request, you will not be able to proceed with the probate application. You may return to the eService application to check the status of the withdrawal request.
c. There must be no documents under the “Pending” status.
Scenario 2:
After Grant of Probate has been issued
a. There is a positive balance in your account.
You may check your account balance via the “Transaction History” button located at the top right of the screen.
b. There must be no documents under the “Pending” status.
If the above criteria for the respective scenarios are met, the “Request for Refund” button will be shown on the “Transaction History” pop-up screen. You will be required to provide the necessary bank account information for the account to which the refund should be credited.
After submitting the refund request, you will be able to view the details of the refund on the "Apply for Grant of Probate" page.
