Who can I approach to get the deceased’s Will certified as a true copy?

You may approach a lawyer to get the deceased’s will certified as a true copy. A directory of practising lawyers can be found on the Ministry of Law’s website.


From 15 October 2024 onwards, under the new Family Justice Rules, the certification by the lawyer must be on every page of the Will (view the correct verification required here).
