Travellers are allowed to bring in food and food products under the different food categories as long as they are within the limits and from approved sources. These limits are calculated separately for each food category and on a per traveller basis. Family members/groups are allowed to combine the limit or value allowed for food or food product to be brought into Singapore for private consumption.

As an example, a family of 3 members travelling together is allowed to bring into Singapore a combined mixed of 10 kg of canned sardines (Note: fish product limit is 3x5 Kg=15 Kg of fish product category) and 15 kg of mooncake valued $300 (Note: processed food limit is 3x5 Kg=15 Kg and total value is 3x$100=$300).

Please refer to the List of Food & Food Products Allowed to identify the types of food allowed from approved countries/regions and limits allowed.
