Candidates are advised to refer to the following recommendations for the use of pencils and pens, to avoid answers appearing too faint and/or illegible during marking.

For open-ended (OE) questions, use a blue or black ballpoint pen with a 0.5mm tip when writing answers. This reduces possible smudging and ensures that writing is clear. If changes to answers are needed, please neatly cross out the original answers and rewrite them.
For multiple-choice questions (MCQ), use only a sharp 2B pencil when shading the Optical Answer Sheet (OAS).
