How can my child prepare for the AEIS/S-AEIS/SPERS-Sec/SPE test(s)? Does the specific level indicated on their entry proof mean they need to be familiar with the content for that level?

The admission level stated on the Entry Proof reflects the level into which your child is seeking admission.

Preparing for AEIS/S-AEIS tests

AEIS/S-AEIS Primary

Your child needs to be familiar with the Mathematics topics taught in mainstream MOE schools for the level preceding the one that they applied for.

For example, if your child wishes to seek admission to Primary 3, they should be familiar with Primary 2 content.

AEIS/S-AEIS Secondary

Your child needs to be familiar with the English and Mathematics topics taught in our mainstream MOE schools for the level preceding the one that they applied for.

For example, if your child wishes to seek admissions to Secondary 2, they should be familiar with Secondary 1 content.

Preparing for SPERS-Sec/SPE tests

Your child needs to be familiar with the English and Mathematics topics taught in mainstream MOE secondary schools, such as:

  • Topics in Primary 6 for Secondary 1 admission.

  • Topics in Secondary 1 for Secondary 2 admission.

  • Topics in Secondary 2 for Secondary 3 admission.
