I have submitted a request to amend the name on my GCE-Level examination certificate. How long will it take for me to receive my amended certificate?

Only requests for a reprint of your examination certificate due to a spelling error in your registered name for the examination will be accepted.

Depending on whether you are a school or private candidate, the request for a reprint must be submitted through your school or to SEAB, within five (5) working days from the day of the results release.

A service charge will apply for this request. Each request will be reviewed and is subject to approval. Requests received after the deadline will not be considered.

The amendment process will be carried out after the receipt of the amendment request and payment (if required by SEAB). The processing time will depend on the circumstances of the request.

If you are a school candidate taking the PSLE or GCE-Level examinations, the amended certificate will be dispatched to your school via registered post, and the school will contact you to collect it.

If you are a private candidate taking the GCE-Level examinations, the amended certificate will be sent to the mailing address that you provided when you registered for the examination.
