For Direct-Entry Lieutenants and Fire & Rescue Specialists, you will be required to perform 24 hours shift duty followed by 48 hours of non-duty-duration.

For Paramedics, you will follow an 8-day work cycle (i.e. 2 day shifts, 2 days off followed by 2 night shifts, 2 days off).

Under certain circumstances, you may need to perform administrative or standby duties during your off days or non-duty duration.
