This is only possible if you are applying for the Fire & Rescue Specialist (FRS) and Paramedic positions. You will be placed under the Minimum Term of Engagement (MTE), where you are required to serve a minimum of 5 years' regular service upon joining the SCDF. Only then, you will be deemed to have completed your full-time National Service (NS) obligation.
