How do I report an e-commerce scam?
Please note that ScamShield is unable to assist with any payment disputes or refunds on e-commerce platforms, as we are not involved in the transaction process.
For issues with e-commerce orders, we recommend you to reach out to the official e-commerce support channel directly as they would be in the best position to help you or take action on the fraudulent merchant.
Document all your conversations with the seller and keep records of any payment transactions you've made.
If you paid through a bank transfer, contact your bank to report this fraudulent transaction.
If you used a credit card, contact your credit card issuer to dispute the charge.
If you believe this is a scam, please file an official police report at https://go.gov.sg/police-report. If you have already made a police report, please follow up with SPF using this Enquiry Form.
Please refer to this guide on important information to include when filing a police report.
If you are unsure, please call the ScamShield Helpline at 1799 for immediate assistance.
