How do I report a social media scam?
At the moment, the ScamShield app doesn’t support the direct reporting of social media scams. But if you see a suspicious link, you can still help by reporting it directly via the ScamShield app:
Open ScamShield > Submit a Scam Report > A Website link > Paste link > Submit.
If you suspect that your social media account has been hacked:
Please see the links below for what to do if you suspect that your account has been compromised. While the ScamShield app currently does not support the direct reporting or recovery of social media accounts, the respective platform’s support team will be able to assist you further.
