Additional tips to reduce scam emails in your inbox:

While scam emails can’t be entirely prevented, here are some steps you can take to limit unwanted or scam emails depending on your email provider:

  1. Gmail:

    • Click “Report phishing” or “Report spam” directly in the message.

    • Use Filters and Blocked Addresses in your Settings to automatically screen suspicious senders.

  2. Outlook:

    • Right-click the message and select “Report phishing”.

    • Adjust your Junk Email Settings and consider adding persistent scam senders to your blocked list.

  3. Yahoo Mail:

    • Use the Spam or Phishing report options.

    • Under Security and Privacy settings, you can manage blocked addresses and filter levels.

Additionally, we recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your email account, and being cautious about subscribing to online mailing lists or sharing your email address online.

  • Don’t open attachments or click links from unfamiliar email addresses. Even if the sender appears familiar, double-check the full email address for any unusual characters or misspellings.
