I think ScamShield is blocking calls from legitimate phone numbers on my iOS device. What do I do next?

If you are an iOS user and have not been able to receive calls, here are some steps to troubleshoot this issue:
Please check if your "Silence Unknown Callers" setting is switched on in your iOS device.
To do so, go to Settings > Phone, then scroll down, tap Silence Unknown Callers and turn off the feature.
Please note this is not a feature of the ScamShield app ❌ but an in-built iOS functionality. For more details, refer to this FAQ from Apple Support.
Is the incoming call showing up as a missed call in your call log? This call may be blocked by the ScamShield app. Find out if the phone number is blocked in our database by following these steps:
Launch ScamShield app > Check for Scams > Start Check > A number that called you > Phone call > Enter the phone number > Check.
If the check outcome is RED and says "Beware this looks like a scam", this phone number has been blocked. For any other outcomes, the phone number is not blocked as yet.
If you think the phone number is incorrectly blocked, please click on 'Contact Us' in the ScamShield app and provide us with a screenshot of this outcome. We will help you follow up with relevant authorities to review this request.
