How do I know SMS filtering is enabled on my phone?

For iOS, SMS filtering will need to be switched on for ScamShield under Unknown & Spam settings.

For Android, ScamShield will need to be allowed to send and view SMSes, send notifications and access your contacts in the settings.


If you have updated to the enhanced ScamShield app, you can follow the in-app guide to setup your permissions for call blocking. Please refer to our product guide for more info on how to set this up.
