Can my society postpone the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to a later date than that specified in the society's constitution?

A society should hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the time specified in its constitution. Any one-off postponement should be agreed upon by the society's members in accordance with its constitution.

If the society wishes to permanently change the AGM provisions in its constitution, the proposed amendment must first be passed at a General Meeting in accordance with the existing constitution. The society must then submit an Amendment of Rules application through ROS eServices and obtain ROS' written approval before the change can take effect.

The society must submit its Annual Return within 1 month after the AGM.
