Why was my card declined?

To resolve card decline issues, try these steps:

  1. Ensure your card is activated.

  2. Remove and re-add your card to the app, or try a different card

  3. Try booking another parking session If this doesn't work, try fully closing and relaunching the app. Make sure both your phone's operating system and the Parking.sg app are up to date.

  4. If the issue persists, consider deleting and reinstalling the app.

  5. Contact your card issuing bank. Please provide them with the following details

    1. Credit card name and type: (eg. POSB Passion Debit Card)

    2. Exact date and time of failed transaction

    3. Update them that this particular transaction on "Parking.sg" failed

    4. The error message you have encountered (eg. Your card is declined)


If this issue persists even after contacting the bank, please write in to the Parking team
