I believe I was charged double / overcharged

The Parking.sg app combines multiple parking sessions into a single credit card charge, through a process called batching.

Bank SMS alerts or charges may appear on days when you did not park - this is normal.

Your pending parking payments will be batched when either:

  • The total reaches $5, or

  • After 2 days

As a result, your parking bills may contain either a single session or multiple sessions, depending on how the payments are combined.

The combined charges will appear on your bank statement after 2 days as "PARKING.SG BILL_XXXXXXX" (where XXXXXX is your unique bill reference number).

To verify your charges, you can match the Bill ID on your bank statement with the records in the app:

  1. Open the app Menu (☰)

  2. Select 'History'

  3. Go to 'Bill' to view your combined sessions

  4. You can then compare the Bill IDs and amounts between your credit card statement and the app.

Once a consolidated charge is created, the original pending charges will be removed from your account. Please allow several days for your bank to process this change.

If you believe there are any discrepancies in the charges, please email feedback@parking.sg with:

  1. A copy of your card statement (with sensitive information redacted)

  2. A screenshot of your parking bill from the app (Menu(☰) > 'History' > 'Bills')

  3. Your vehicle number
