What is the difference between the current PAssion ez-link card and the new PAssion Silver Concession card/PAssion Silver card (non-concession)?

  • Age - The PAssion Silver Concession Card/PAssion Silver Card (Non-Concession) is only for Singapore Citizens aged 60 and above. In comparison, anyone of any age can apply for the current PAssion Card.

  • Membership duration - PAssion Silver Concession Card/PAssion Silver Card (Non-Concession) holders enjoy a free 7-year membership, while current PAssion Card holders enjoy a 5-year paid membership subject to a membership fee.

  • Public transport fares - Both the PAssion Card and the PAssion Silver Card (Non-Concession) are adult ez-link cards whereas PAssion Silver Concession Card holders get to enjoy concessionary fares when travelling on public buses and train services.


For both card types, membership comes with privileges and benefits at Community Centres/ Clubs (CCs) and PA Outlets, as well as participating PAssion merchant outlets. PAssion Silver members can also get special discounts over and above these. The easy contactless payment function of the card also enables payment for:

  • CC and PAssion WaVe courses;

  • Transit services (e.g. MRT, LRT, Bus and Taxi);

  • Motoring charges (e.g. ERP charges, only for 2nd Generation IU);

  • Retail and services payment (e.g. 7-Eleven, NLB, etc); and

  • Earn yuu Points and enjoy amazing offers and rewards at over 1,000 places which include Cold Storage, CS Fresh, Guardian Health & Beauty, 7-Eleven, Giant, BreadTalk, Toast Box, Butter Bean, Food Junction, Food Republic, Food Opera, ThyeMoh Chan, Mandai Wildlife Reserve (home to Singapore's wildlife parks including Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park) and Singtel.


They can also enjoy the following benefits:

  • Complimentary 5-year National Library Board (NLB) Partner Membership (Applicable to Singaporeans and PRs only); and
