When can I make changes to my solemnisation details?
You are allowed to make changes online up to the day of your solemnisation with the following conditions:
If there are changes to your solemnisation details on your solemnisation day and changes are not made, you will not receive your digital marriage certificate via email. You are required to come to ROMM the next working day to make and pay for the changes to be reflected on your digital marriage certificate. Only then you will be able to receive your digital marriage certificate via email.
If changes to your solemnisation details were made online before 7am on your solemnisation day (with payment made), you are still able to receive your digital marriage certificate via your email once your Kadi/Naib Kadi registers your marriage within 3 working days. However, your ceremonial certificate might not be updated during your solemnisation ceremony as it is printed 5 days in advance.
Changes to personal details such as bride/groom/wali name and identification number will not be allowed after you have signed your declaration.
* Solemnisation details are as follows:
Witnesses’ Details such as name and NRIC/Passport number
Maskahwin
Hantaran
Solemnisation Venue
** Payment of $15 is required to reflect the changes to the above details.
