Is the appointment with ROMM compulsory for soon to-wed couples?

Updated by OURMARRIAGEJOURNEY
Section 95(3) of the Administration of the Muslim Law Act (AMLA) requires a Kadi/Naib Kadi to make full inquiry of a marriage application to ensure there are no obstacles to the marriage in accordance with the AMLA. The verification of documents and statutory declaration during the appointment with ROMM facilitates the approvals of all marriage applications in Singapore.
