Can my child switch back to the original subject level if he/she is unable to cope with the more demanding subjects?

Updated by OPSS

Yes, the school will holistically assess the student’s aptitude and attitude towards learning, his/her socio-emotional well-being, and the consequential impact on post-secondary progression options. However, it is recommended for the child to attempt any subject at a more demanding level for at least a year to better gauge his/her suitability to continue.
