The temperature in Singapore has just hit record highs. What are your heat management plans for participants?

Updated by NDP

We have implemented dedicated, well-ventilated rest areas, a strict work-rest cycle, and a robust hydration regime to safeguard participants’ well-being during training. Training is progressive to help participants acclimatise, and we closely monitor temperature conditions, adjusting our heat management measures as needed—including the use of water mist sprays, shifting to sheltered areas, and providing ice popsicles as recommended by heat resilience experts.

These enhanced measures address the record-high temperatures during the inter-monsoon period and prioritise participants’ safety.
