Can I appoint a non-Singaporean as my LPA Donee?
A non-Singaporean can be a Donee. You may appoint a foreign Donee in your LPA, so long as they meet the requirements of being a Donee e.g. 21 years old and above. If the foreign Donee has a Singpass account, the donor may make an LPA online. The Donee may log in to OPGO via Singpass to accept the appointment.
If the Donee does not have a Singpass account, the donor may submit a hardcopy LPA form together with the cover letter on why a hardcopy LPA is submitted. Mail in or drop off the completed hardcopy LPA application to the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) at 3 Bishan Place #03-00, CPF Bishan Building, Singapore 579838.
