What are the documents required for reporting overseas death?
To report a death that occurred outside Singapore, you will need to provide the following documents:
Your identification document (NRIC or passport)
Death certificate issued by the foreign authority (or certified true copy of the death certificate)
Deceased's Singapore identification documents (NRIC, Singapore passport or Long Term Pass card)
Coffin import/export permit (if available)
Burial/cremation permit (if available)
If you are a proxy, a letter of authorisation and identification document of the deceased's next-of-kin.
You may report the death of your family member (Singapore resident or Long-Term Pass holder) who died overseas to ICA via FormSG.
