What happens if asatizah whose ARS recognition has expired are found still teaching in a MRS?
MRS are inspected at least once every three years. If non-ARS asatizah are found teaching in a Muslim religious school, MUIS will investigate and take action against the school proprietor. If found guilty, the proprietor may be fined not exceeding $2,000 or imprisoned for a term not exceeding 12 months, or both.
