MUIS-recognised Foreign Halal Certification Bodies (FHCB) are overseas halal certifiers assessed to have standards similar to or comparable with the Singapore Muis Halal Standards (SMHS).

This recognition system extends MUIS' certification role internationally, providing assurance on the halal status of imported food and beverage products. By recognising qualified foreign certifiers, MUIS ensures consistent halal standards for products entering Singapore whilst facilitating international halal trade.
