Am I eligible for Government-Paid Leave Schemes (GPLS) if my child is not a Singapore Citizen?
Parents whose child is not a Singapore Citizen at birth and will not be obtaining Singapore citizenship are not eligible for any Government-Paid Leave Schemes (GPLS).
However, eligible parents may still be entitled to maternity and childcare leave under the Employment Act (EA). For more information on eligibility and how to apply, visit the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) website or contact your HR department.
