Am I eligible for Government-Paid Childcare Leave (GPCL) or Extended Childcare Leave (ECL) if my child is not a Singapore Citizen?
Parents whose child is not a Singapore Citizen are not eligible for GPCL or ECL. However, if all other eligibility criteria are met, they may still be eligible for Childcare Leave under the Employment Act, which provides 2 days of employer-paid childcare leave per year.
For more information, visit the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) website.
