Do parents with multiple births (e.g. twins, triplets) in the same delivery receive additional GPMB, GPPB, SPB, or GPAB?

Updated by MSF

No. All government-paid parental benefits — Government-Paid Maternity Benefit (GPMB), Government-Paid Paternity Benefit (GPPB), Shared Parental Leave Benefit (SPB), and Government-Paid Adoption Benefit (GPAB) — are granted per delivery, not based on the number of children born or adopted. This means that parents who deliver multiple children in the same confinement (e.g. twins or triplets) receive the same benefit amounts as parents with a single birth or single adoption.
