What will happen to my child’s existing Child Development Account (CDA) or Child Savings Account (CSA)?

Updated by MSF

Children born on or after 1 January 2015 can continue using their Child Development Account (CDA) until they turn 16 years old.

The Child Savings Account (CSA) will continue to operate as a joint savings account between the CDA trustee and the child. From April 2027, the SG Child Support Package payouts will be paid to the bank account linked to your child’s PayNow ID (that is, NRIC or birth certificate number). If you would like to receive the payouts in the CSA, you may link the CSA to your child’s PayNow ID.
