Updated by MSF If your Letter of Authorisation (LOA) issued before 1 July 2024 has expired, you should follow these steps to proceed with opening a Child Development Account (CDA):
1. For DBS/POSB and OCBC customers: From 1 July 2024, the nominated trustee can complete the opening of CDA at the online bank portal.
2. For UOB customers: If you are a Singaporean or Permanent Resident, the nominated trustee can complete the opening of CDA at the online bank portal. If you are a foreigner, you will need to submit your request through go.gov.sg/contact-bb to obtain a new Letter of Authorisation (LOA) before visiting any UOB branch for account opening. Contact us
