How can parent utilise the Government-Paid Leave (GPL) entitlements?
In accordance with prevailing guidelines, leave schemes (namely Government-Paid Maternity Leave (GPML), Government-Paid Paternity Leave (GPPL), and Adoption Leave for Mothers (AL)) must be fully utilised before the commencement of Shared Parental Leave (SPL).
Regarding Government-Paid Childcare Leave (GPCL), parents are encouraged to utilise this at any time following the completion of GPML, GPPL, and AL.
