Do I need to save up to the Child Development Account (CDA) Government co-matching cap before my child’s CDA closes?

You can save and receive the Government co-matching amount in your child’s Child Development Account (CDA) until 15 Dec of the year your child turns 12. If you have not reached the co-matching cap by the time the CDA closes, you can continue saving and receiving the Government co-matching amount in their Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) until they turn 18.
