What is the deadline for me to top up the CDA in order to receive Government co-matching contributions?
You may top up your child’s CDA before 31 December of the year your child turns 12 years old. Funds in the CDA will then be automatically transferred to your child’s Post Secondary Education Account (PSEA) under the Ministry of Education.
You may continue to save in the PSEA before your child turns 18 years old and receive the remaining Government co-matching if you have not saved up to the CDA cap.
