Why was my Child Development Account (CDA) saving/contribution not co-matched by the Government before the CDA closed?
To receive the Government co-matching in your child's Child Development Account (CDA), the following conditions must be met:
Your deposit must be within the CDA Government co-matching cap; and
You must make the deposit into the CDA before 15 Dec of the year your child turns 12.
Important: If you make a deposit into the CDA after 15 Dec of the year your child turns 12, you will receive the Government co-matching amount in the Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) that opens in Feb. Visit the MOE website for more information about PSEA.
