SRHs that will be licensed under the SRHA have been exempted from the Healthcare Services Act (HCSA).

MSF and MOH are concurrently reviewing if there are nursing care requirements under the HCSA that would apply to SRHs that provide nursing care to residents (e.g. Sheltered Homes). New requirements, if any, will be introduced at a later date, and all affected SRHs will be consulted beforehand.
